Bovalino: Between History, Sea and Mountains in the Jasmine Coast

Bovalino is a municipality located on the Ionian coast of Reggio, in Calabria. The city is made up of two hamlets: Bovalino Marina, overlooking the sea, and Bovalino Superiore, which is located at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level and preserves an ancient village rich in history.

The territory of Bovalino extends for 17.9 km along the Costa dei Gelsomini, one of the most beautiful coasts of Calabria, and borders to the north with the municipality of Ardore and to the south with the Palazzi di Casignana district. To the west, the municipality enters the mountainous area of ​​Aspromonte, bordering the municipalities of San Luca and Benestare.

This privileged position allows you to enjoy both the beauty of the sea and the mountains, making Bovalino an ideal destination for excursions, seaside tourism and discovery of local traditions.
